
Businesses Encouraged To Unleash Their Digital Potential at Yello Digicon 2019
On Wednesday May 8th industry experts, marketing leaders and business operators converged to learn, network and share at the 4th annual staging of Yello Digicon at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.
The theme “Unleash Your Digital Potential” was the catapult for businesses to seize the readily available digital marketing solutions that can enable businesses to grow, improve their brand exposure and compete more effectively regionally and internationally.
Yello Digicon featured five dynamic international marketing speakers that shared best practices, case studies, tips and advice on how to maximise returns on investment with online marketing spend and identify the digital investments that will increase conversion and drive customer retention.
Amongst the list of headliners for Yello Digicon were; Eli Schwartz, Director of Growth, Survey Monkey, Brad Peterson, Senior Vice President of Global Business Development, Matchcraft, Sterling McKinley, Digital Marketing Speaker & Strategist, Chris Bryant, Creative Director of Empire Studios and Lisa Pierson, Lead Conversion Copywriter, Copy Hackers Agency.
Carlyle Roberts, General Manager, Yello Media Barbados reminded the audience about the many platforms and business solutions available. These include the online directory findyello.com, which receives over 24 million views, and is seen by 4 million unique viewers across the Caribbean annually. ‘Last year, Barbados had over 3.2 million page views and 1.3 million unique views. Search engine and display marketing are offered in the digital suite of services. Yello Media Group is undoubtedly the biggest seller of Google ads in the region’ Roberts informed. Other services offered by Yello are social media marketing, web page design, video design and video marketing, including TruView on Youtube and television ads on FLOW TV.
